When Healing Feels Like Bullsh*t: Let’s Talk Rage, Not Reiki

A digital mixed-media collage with a distressed parchment background and bold uppercase text that reads “WHEN HEALING FEELS LIKE BULLSH*T.” Beneath it, the subtitle says “Let’s Talk Rage, Not Reiki.” The graphic features torn paper layers, gritty textures, and scattered symbolic elements like broken chains, scorched matchsticks, and faint traces of ash. The aesthetic is raw and witchy, blending sacred rebellion with emotional intensity. At the bottom, a centered affirmation reads: “I will not pretend peace while I am still burning.”

You lit the candle. You journaled. You said the affirmations until your throat dried up. You even let yourself sob under the moonlight like some kind of tragic indie film protagonist.

But you’re still mad as hell. And if one more well-meaning crystal slinger tells you to “release it with love,” you might hex their chakra chart into next week.

🖤 When Healing Feels Fake

Let’s name it: sometimes healing feels like performance art.

  • You’re repeating mantras you don’t believe
  • Trying to forgive people who’ve never been sorry
  • And repressing anger because “high vibes only” is trending

This isn’t healing—it’s emotional contortion. And it’s exhausting.

🔥 Anger Is Not the Enemy

In many spiritual spaces, anger is treated like mold—unwanted, toxic, and something you should “clear.”

Bullshit.

Anger is sacred. Anger is the flare your nervous system lights when something is not okay. It’s not a weakness. It’s a spell screaming, “Something needs to change.”

Suppressing it doesn’t make you evolved. It makes you complicit in your own silencing.

⚡ You’re Not Broken—You’re Just in the Fire

Healing isn’t supposed to feel like floating on a pastel cloud. Sometimes it feels like rage-crying into a pillow while your tea goes cold. Or screaming in your car. Or ghosting your therapist because their voice reminds you of your ex.

You’re not doing it wrong.

You’re in the ugly part. The sacred, smoldering center of the storm.

This is where the transformation starts—not where it ends.

🕷️ What To Do When Healing Feels Like a Lie

If you’re deep in the spiral and everything feels fake, try this:

  • Stop trying to feel better. Feel exactly what you’re feeling. Without censoring it. Rage, grief, resentment—they’re all part of the spell.
  • Ritualize the rage. Scream into a jar. Write a hate letter and burn it. Hex your trauma with glitter and a steak knife. You’re allowed to exorcise, not just “release.”
  • Find your people. The ones who won’t flinch when you say, “Actually, I’m still furious.” Rage needs witnesses who don’t judge the flame.

🩸 Affirmation for the Emotionally Flammable

“I am not here to heal quietly. My fire is not a flaw. I will not pretend peace while I am still burning.”

🔮 Final Word from Hagatha

“If your ‘healing’ requires me to smile through generational betrayal and call it growth, keep it. I’d rather hex the system and cackle in the ashes. This isn’t a wellness retreat. It’s a goddamn uprising.”
